I have to ankle through the guests, but I don’t regret it. Some fine lookers in the joint, dressed all fancy in really short skirts and showing off their pins, and wearing those silly marbles. The mugs here are all classy, but mostly geezers. In hindsight, I should have gone dressed as staff, but I couldn’t resist fancying up myself. Even got a new suit from the tailor. It’s an unusually cold morning accompanied by heavy rainfall. The drops are smashing against the windows of the diner melodically, in quick pace and calm rhythm.
